Stress Relief Is Easy With Realistic Expectations
Getting relief from stress starts with us. You can’t change other people such as your moody teenage daughter or obnoxious boss. However, you can control you by having realistic expectations as a result of a positive attitude.
What we want to happen originates from our expectations. Unique experiences and patterns formed from the past come from expectations.
Failure of a person is really disappointment to follow the action we expected them to follow.
If you are verbally appreciated every day about your cooking then one day their is silence with no raving about your food this could result in being let down.
Expectations impact our emotions because our emotions are formed out of what we hope to find in life.
Content people working in a relaxed environment is what we expect. However, disappointment can result if disgruntled workers in a high pressure environment is the reality.
The workplace can be miserable from either coworkers or the expectation of perfection by supervisors.
Is the moody teen a thorn in your side from what?
Expectation that a child should be grateful, thoughtful and pleasant at all times.
An unmet expectation can result in anger and disappointment.
